Purse: LV Alma PM Epi Leather in Fuchsia

Hello Hello! Alma PM Epi Adorned with Matching Puff Bag Charm ❤️ ❤️

I was after a LV bag that is subtle yet stylist for everyday and work use since Monogram print can be too loud for certain occasion. Decided on Alma style for those purpose since I always love how lady-like the Alma bag looks. 

Material
My material options for Alma bag are Damier Ebene and Epi leather. Chosen the latter because Epi has options of vibrant color and such a beautiful understated bag. *Must admit though, I was tempted with Vernis material, which did not fit my subtle category, oh my!* Color-wise, I chose the luscious Fuchsia to suit all season, whilst still gave me the pop of warm color. 

Features 
The  bag comes with silver padlock, two silver keys and leather key tag that can be hot stamped. The packaging include dust bag, LV box with leather cord, receipt and Epi leather booklet. I am quite particular with the presentation when first unboxing the item, and thus would give shout out when LV SA package the goods nicely. This time the packaging was average and not as impressive as I expected.

The internal lining in Alma Epi is a soft microfibre lining with matching color to outside. There are 2 internal pockets and 2 zippers that open almost all the way on the side. There is excess internal lining on each bag side to prevent items from falling out. My only hesitant with Epi is because Epi has a silver hardware, which is not my typical preference for a high-end bag.

There are three sizes for Alma Epi; which are PM (32.0 x 24.0 x 15.0 cm ), MM (36 x 28 x 17 cm) and BB (25 x 19 x 11 cm). Since Alma is a structured and symmetric bag, I think PM looks best for petite girl. 

It holds essentials well too; such as cell phone, long purse, key pouch, mini pochette and still have plenty of room for agenda and small scarf.

The Illustre Hot Air Balloon charm had been in my wish list for some time before I get her.

The Illustre Hot Air Balloom Charm Adorning my Alma Epi Fuchsia

Saw the bag charm last year in LV Maison Amsterdam when buying my Speedy B and loved it so much when it adorned the bag. But did not get it as thought I could buy one in  Sydney if I really wanted it. Neither did I know that the charm is a limited edition item for Xmas 2014. Long story short, decided to get the charm through LV Australia website and all sold out, they even looked into LV New Zealand and all gone.

Since then, I have spent hours googling through pictures of this charm in the net and only found it in re-sale market. Intriguingly, I found the re-sale price could be much-much more than the original LV price. Post-researching in the purse forum and other LV blogger, this limited edition things is highly collectible and an investment goodies. I kind of kicking myself not getting one before.

For my anniversary gift this year, my DH surprised me by getting Illustre Hot Air Balloon charm in Damier Ebene! I guess he knows my obsession from my browse history and my talks about this charm!! :)

 
He got the charm new and unused in re-sale market with a good price (although more than the original LV price) and all the perks included (box, receipt from LV UK, dustbag).
When inspecting it, the illustre is as beautiful as expected, the blue tag remains adhered onto the golden brass; and the back side has date codes/serial number, no hot stamp and a beautiful calf leather in Fuchsia.

I love it sooo much on both my Alma Epi Fuchsia and Speedy B Mono. It personalises your bag especially for the common bag like Speedy and Neverfull. I cannot wait to attach her when I get a Damier Ebene bag *^o^*
